Friends of Haxby and Wigginton Library

The Friends of Haxby and Wigginton Explore Library are a small friendly group who meet in the library approximately every 6 weeks. Their purpose is to support their local library. We have a stall at Haxby Carnival each summer and run other fundraising events throughout the year.

They help to provide the ‘extras’ such as the bean bags in the Children’s Library.

If you are interested in joining the Friends, please email the secretary at or leave a message with the library staff.

More information about the friends groups can be found on the Explore website by clicking here.
