Get ready for some festive fun! Oaken Grove Community Centre and Haxby & Wigginton Explore Library have announced that the Community Christmas Fun Day will return on Saturday 30th November. This event promises to be a day filled with cracking Christmas activities for all.  

The event will feature a Mini Christmas Disco, Story Time, Lego Club, chocolate tombola, temporary tattoos, treasure hunt, and more. Dance to Christmas tunes, join in with Lego Club or Story Time, or simply pop to the cafe and enjoy a festive treat. There will be a book stall, where you can purchase books for yourself or as gifts for loved ones.  There will also be a seasonal sensory space for everyone to enjoy.

The Explore Reading Cafe will be serving seasonal treats, including mince pies and hot chocolate, to add to the festive spirit of the day. This event is the perfect opportunity for families and friends to come together, celebrate the holiday season, and create lasting memories.

The Community Christmas Fun Day will take place on Saturday 30th November from 10:30am – 3:00pm. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend
